Early 70s

Founding
De Zaag started in Rotterdam in the early 1970s. After just one year, the young family business moved to Krimpen aan de Lek, the place where the company is still rooted. The mentality of the early days remained: honest work, a fair price, and direct lines of communication with the customer.

Second branch
In 1984, De Zaag opened a second branch in Rotterdam-Zestienhoven. After a few years, two businesses proved to be too much of a good thing, and the company consciously opted for one strong home base: everything back under one roof in Krimpen aan de Lek.

Extension
